We LOVE Nurses!
Think Anew wishes to extend its sincere thanks to the CNAs, care partners, nurses, clinicians, and long-term care staff who continue to provide excellent care in the face of COVID-19 and its related challenges. Your tenacity and strength is appreciated and does not go unrecognized!
Industry- and thought-leaders across the United States have heard and amplified the call for increased financial and material support from the government to increase access to testing supplies and PPE. Think Anew, no less, stands in solidarity with providers and professionals across the country to ask that we stand together and collaborate with clarity of purpose.
Among the most profound gifts is that of authenticity, and your presence to care for those who cannot for themselves is a testament to your grit and compassion. Challenges like these are opportunities to celebrate the strength of the long-term care industry and its leaders like you, and we hope that you know that your legacy will be made of many small acts of kindness that inspire hope where the world looks dim.
To those who can, and should, practice social distancing within their work and personal lives, we respectfully ask that you consider this as the best opportunity to thank healthcare providers who are ministering to those most at risk. Limiting exposure at the community level has been proposed as the most effective mechanism towards “flattening the curve.”
Adherence to public health guidance serves to protect the elderly, immunocompromised, and healthcare professionals who boldly continue to serve on the front lines.
Remember to stay connected to those who are providing care within your circle of influence through phone calls, messaging, and virtual visits. Checking in on friends within the industry is an essential act of participation within our shared life and is the best way to nurture the heart of long-term care’s work to make compassion come alive. We’re all in this together, and in thankfulness, we rise.
