Out with the old, in with the new! That’s a great way to start a new year and a new decade! In this case, we are talking about Microsoft Windows.
On January 14, 2020, support for Windows 7 will come to an end.
What does that mean?
After January 14, 2020, Microsoft will discontinue security updates and support for PCs running Windows 7. Although this doesn’t mean that your PC will no longer work, after support for Windows 7 has ended, your PC running Windows 7 software may become more vulnerable to security risks.
Upgrading to Windows 10
The best way to avoid security vulnerabilities with an unsupported software is to either get new devices or upgrade your existing tools.
Think Anew clients can rest assured that their devices are up to speed with the latest software, Windows 10.
In the Fall of 2019, Think Anew began to inventory our clients’ in-use devices and installed software. We review deployments with customers to provide options to upgrade either software for compatible devices to remain secure and productive or to replace PCs, taking advantage of new features on devices that run faster and cost less to maintain.
We value our customers and work to ensure that they are ahead of the curve. Think Anew is uniquely positioned as a Gold Microsoft Partner to provide efficient solutions and reliable advice.
